Take The Long Way
The WTB Koda Saddle was designed through testing and feedback from ultra-endurance cyclist Rebecca Rusch to make the ultimate saddle to suit endless rides.
All-day comfort is achieved through a generously open channel that divides supportive outer zones to alleviate pressure on sensitive bits. Its short nose provides seamless on-off transitions while a slightly swooped shape provides an adequate tail to brace against. The Koda boasts a shape that everyone can enjoy, making it female-focused without being women's specific.
Features:
- Contoured Profile - Shape cradles the pelvis to provide optimal support in one sitting position. Contoured saddles are best for riders who prefer to lock into a specific sitting position while pedaling.
- Love Channel - Protects your sensitive bits from unwanted pressure and numbness. The central depression provides soft-tissue relief without sacrificing the structural integrity of the saddle.
- Flat Nose - Allows riders to perch on the nose to output more power during hard efforts. Flat nose saddles are commonly preferred by riders who live in areas with exceptionally steep climbs.
- Medium Padding - Middle level of padding provides an exceptional balance of comfort and support to provide optimal performance without being too squishy. Medium padding saddles are often the top choice for all-day riders.
- Flex-Tuned Base - Provides an exceptional mix of comfortable flex and firm efficiency. Not as supple as the Soft-Shell and not as stiff as a carbon-composite base, Flex-Tuned saddles offer mid-level flex to provide optimal support and comfort for the majority of riders.
- Microfiber Cover -Closely replicates the look and feel of a leather cover, but with the anti-microbial and cruelty-free benefits of a synthetic material. The supple nature of the Microfiber Cover allows the foam to fully support the sit bones without interfering with its resiliency.
- Steel, Chromoly, or Titanium rails
- Medium - 145mm or Wide - 150mm
- 315, 306, 218g Medium / 316, 210, 226g Wide
- 255mm length

Reviews
The width is correct for my butt. You feel planted in this saddle vs. slidy like the WTB Pure. Firm and supportive vs. the more comfortable Pure saddle. Great for performance. Ok for comfort. My use is gravel road and trail on a cross/hybrid bike.
I was looking for a dedicated saddle to use for my fit on my new Benno Boost 10D Speed E-bike. The Boost is designed to fit heights up to 6'3" (as stated by Benno). However, the seatpost/saddle configuration for me was not quite adequate. I am 6'3" with long limbs and the fit did not feel quite right. So, I ordered the WTB Koda saddle along with a 400mm seatpost. Now, we have the original Benno saddle/seatpost ready to pop onto the bike anytime my wife needs it and I have my WTB Koda saddle and longer seatpost, which stays on the bike most of the time.
I find this saddle comfortable enough for all my commutes and short trips, the longest of which is about 20 miles roundtrip. The construction and padding is a nice compromise between a drop-bar road bike saddle and a comfort/cruiser style saddle. I think it hit the mark of what I was looking for. Folks will probably see this saddle as an upgrade for their low-end MTB or big box comfort bike. Seems durable enough to withstand what my E-bike rides put it through.
