Great tread pattern for asphalt gravel combo rides, sidewalls are pretty flimsy

Love the balance between road & gravel with the tread pattern, and the volume is a dream in terms of cushioning. However, the suppleness comes at a cost when you consider the sidewalls. In my experience they are pretty thin and if you run your pressure too low they are quite prone to punctures, so just consider your pressure carefully.

Great all-around gravel tire that doesn't sacrifice too much speed on pavement. When you're doing a mix of roads and back roads, this tire is legit.

A solid tire for touring

I'm a cycling tourist and use tubeless tires. These tires combine the advantage of a tire for easy rolling on a hard surface and capable of handling a dirt/gravel road. My only negative of this tire and it is the side walls and they are subject to leaking sealant. The cure is to add a very healthy amount of sealant when mounting the tires. I also use a spoon full of course ground black pepper to the sealant.

Smooth as butter with excellent grip!

These tires ride smooth as butter on paved trails and oh-so-quite. The raised edges with bite make you feel planted when cornering and give you a little more confidence on gravel trails. They were a small upgrade for my Priority Embark ebike, and I've had them as fast as 40mph on downhills with no issues, as well as 100+ miles of gravel trail. I run them tubeless, though they need a little air added about once a week (probably due to an imperfect sealant job by the bike mechanic).

I set these up tubeless on a new gravel bike. After less than hundred miles of admittedly hard use (gravel, roots rocks), I put it away and came back to find the rear tire flat! Upon inspection, I discovered a couple tiny holes in the WTB on the sidewall. I added some sealant, shook, reinflated and waited. Luckily, that seems to have worked, so far. I have since put another 75 miles on it, including two very rugged all-road rides without air loss, so it seems fine. Aside from that, I love the tires. They are especially fantastic on windy gravel roads. I can lean the bike very deep into corners at speed with total confidence. It feels more like a BMW motorcycle than a bicycle. And they are fine in a paceline on pavement.

2800 miles - no punctures

I've been very impressed on how well these tires work. Use is 65% dirt 35% asphalt. 2800 miles on the rear with no punctures. Front is still good with these miles. Rear finally needs to be changed out.

Great multi surface tire

I have ridden this tire on a multi surface event with about 50% paved roads and mixed gravel and hard packed surface. The tires roll very well on paved surface and they are smooth as silk on the chunky stuff. I really like the extra grip on turns from the side tread. The knobby treads on the edges give you confidence when going through turns with loose gravel or dirt / sand. They look cool as well.

Great riding, but not durable

I mounted these tires on my "rain" bike a few months ago. They are used mostly on the road, but sometimes on gravel. They are great to ride on when they stay inflated. However, I've had more punctures with this set of tires than any other I've ever ridden over the past 30 years. The sealant almost always works to get me home, but at this point, I'm looking to replace them with something else.

like the WTB Horizon but better

on the road and hard pack dirt you wont find a more comfortable fast rolling tire, while the knobs give you confidence when it gets a little loose. I just wish the file tread filled in a bit more in to the center cause when things get super steep and loose the traction gets a bit less predictable, but under any normal riding conditions i wouldn't want any other tire.
