The GoatLink was designed through a collaboration between Lindarets and Wolf Tooth Components to improve chain wrap and shifting performance on 10-speed cassettes using Wolf Tooth's 40T and 42T cogs. It's CNC'd in Minnesota from 6061 aluminum, and it replaces the intermediate link on 2013 and later Shimano 10-speed Shadow+ Direct Mount rear derailleurs. It's easily installed using nothing more than a 5 mm hex wrench and a screwdriver, and the result is over 50% improved chain wrap over an unmodified Shimano derailleur tuned for Wolf Tooth's Giant Cogs.
Claimed weight is 18 g.
Note: See Lindaret's website for compatibility and installation information.
