Terreno Wet — Optimized for CX and Gravel
Many a battle has been lost, due to a lack of preparation. In Gravel and Cyclocross racing, having the right tires is often the critical difference between winning ... and learning the hard way.
When developing the Terreno Wet tread, Vittoria worked with the top athletes to gather their wish-list of performance traits that would make the ultimate wet weather weapon. Versatility was the common thread. It had to roll like a race tire, corner on rails, and be virtually clog proof. A tall order by any measure.
The final product is a tread that performs unlike any other. With the open alternating-lugged design and full siping, the Terreno Wet delivers pro performance, in a range of soft terrain.
Designed for the muddiest conditions
For wet conditions, you need a tire that cuts away soft terrain, while maintaining its grip on slick surfaces, while still rolling fast. The Terreno Wet offers the best grip thanks to the progressive depth tread design that guarantee smooth transitions between cornering lean angles.
Unlike the first-generation graphene, the new 2.0 graphene is functionalized to enhance specific tire performances.
Where the first generation of graphene compounds raised the bar evenly, Graphene 2.0 pin-points each performance metric, and increases it disproportionally to the rest. Vittoria is now able to apply Graphene in such a way that it can achieve a performance boost specifically for speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance.
Corespun 320 TPI
It is Vittoria's most advanced Corespun casing, made of the finest poly-cotton thread with no added aramid. Terreno range uses this type of casing (Terreno Dry, Terreno Mix, terreno Wet).
Vittoria Nylon Casing
Nylon is a robust and durable artificial fiber traditionally used for strong tire casings.
The artificial fiber can be very light but is not as supple as Corespun. Vittoria's nylon casings set a new standard in their class. Nylon casing 120 TPI are used in Vittoria high-end Cross-Country and Enduro/All-Mountain MTB tires.
