Superior Overall Tire

I have ridden 2-3 sets of these in all weather conditions in New Mexico, where the worst of all thorns - the notorious goat heads - and pebbles, rocks, and glass line our roads. I get excellent mileage out of them, rarely flat, and man are they fast. They are easy to mount and remove (one Pedro's tire lever is sufficient). They are more comfortable than most other road racingtraining tires I have used. I used to ride Conti GP 4000S. The Vittoria are less costly and last a lot longer (2-3 times longer in my experience) on our really prickly and rough New Mexico roads. Still, these are not commuter tires as I have read in another review. If you want a commuter tire try the Specialized All-Weather Armadillo. Perhaps the Vittoria Rubino Pro Control would be a solid choice for commuting but I have never ridden it.

These tires are fast, durable and smooth. I like the gum wall sides, it makes my bright yellow pop out on my bike. I will order these tires again for sure.

Smooth Rolling

My Specailized Roubaix Expert came with specialized roubaix pro endurance Tires in a 2325 mm size (whatever that means). Switched those wheels to a bike I dont ride much and Just swapped out to the Rubino Pro in a 25mm and did a 35 mile ride. Rims are 14 mm internal width. Wow. I cant comment on durability yet, but these tires roll fast and the ride is noticeably smoother. Very pleased so far. When dismounted the original tires were very stiff. First time I think I have noticed how much tire quality can affect the ride.

Good training tires

This is my second set of these tires. The last ones lasted me approximately 2 seasons of riding. Then they epicly failed. But they are and were far better than the continentals I was running before. Buying new tires every couple of years is definitely worth it for the value, smooth rolling resistance and over all quality and longevity of these tires.

L'Eroica worthy

I bought the 30mm version to use for the Eroica ride in Tuscany. I fitted these to the vintage steel framed bike and they performed perfectly. I couldn't be any happier with them after conquering the long course, 100k gravel and 109k pavement. They rolled very well and cornered well on the pavement switchbacks, they tracked well in the gravel and hardback. If the gravel got deep and soft, I started to get a little loose but hey, these aren't MTB tires. No flats! I saw countless people changing tubes on the side of the road through the event. I'm sold on these as a durable, fast trainingracing tire if your roads are less than perfect. Go with the Corsas if you have perfect pavement and need every little bit of decreased rolling resistance, but these will take care of you in any tougher environment. BTW, these are a huge step up from the old Rubino Pros (2010 or so).

Two flats in the first 100 miles, no thanks!

The great reviews for these tires, on this site, helped convince me to purchase these here for my new road bike, but within a couple of rides I removed them because I had two flats. These just aren't up to the standards for use here in southern Arizona. They ride and roll fine but if you have thorns or other little sharp things to contend with, I'd look somewhere else.

I ride mostly with groups of 6-20 other riders and when you are having more flats than your riding buddies running Continentals, it's time for a change.

I've been riding Vittoria Rubino Pros for the last 5 years or so. IMO they are the best value for the money capable for racing, durable enough for regular training, and snazzy good looks to boot.

I used this in the Eroica and they performed perfectly. 129 miles with 50% gravel, many riders with multiple flats and these did great. They rolled very well on the paved parts too, cornered well. 30mm width. Great training or mixed surface race tire.

Dependable, long-lasting, grippy tire with great flat protection

I never get flats when running these tires and they are grippy when conditions get bad. They perhaps aren't the supplest tires on earth, but they're the ones I want on my bike when I'm on really long rides.
