Description

Perfect For Raceday

The Veloflex Corsa RACE TLR 700c Road Tire is a clincher tire with a very soft 350 TPI (Threads Per Inch) corespun casing. It's extremely lightweight, with low rolling resistance and great flexibility to adapt to any road surface.

The Corsa RACE TLR has the same characteristics as the Corsa EVO Race clincher tire, but it is improved by an Air-Lock membrane to minimize air pressure loss. It is also equipped with new non-extendable beads in Zylon® — a high-modulus fiber, which allows the tire bead to seat properly without an air chamber.

Fast, silent with great cornering. SUPER easy to mount them on a tubeless rim on the 1st time by a handpump but a bit sticky putting the tire on but just moisten the wheel. I have them on Campag Bora Ultra 60 wheels and they roll beyond really well. Negative is that the sidewalls gets somewhat dirty looking on the gumwall tire. I put 600 miles so far without any issues and the front still has dimples on them. I think that one would go through about 4 rear tires before the front wears out. I do this so that I don't have to rotate tires and reseat them so that you can by just a tire or two when they are on sale and just swap out the rear.

    Fast with fragile sidewalls.

I wish I lived in an area with better and cleaner roads so I could keep using these tires. Sharp rocks got both sidewalls unfortunately, too bad because the road feel of these tires is amazing and they are definitely fast. The tread has good puncture resistance but the sidewalls were cut a lot more easily than other tires Ive used, Im at the point where I would rather have a more durable tire at the expense of all out speed. Ive had good luck with the Vittoria N.ext TLRs so Ill be sticking with those for now.

Excellent speed, grip and easy to mount. Tires are also super comfortable and are durable. Also are very easy to repair from the inside with a patch unlike GP500 S TR. The RACE TLR version is my go to tire for all weather conditions.

They ran well the one time I used them. Waiting on another build to use them on. They don't seem to hold air well on tubeless though I can't blame that on the tires quite yet, it could be the wheels.

One of the best race tires I've ever been on smooth as silk fast as hell. Takes the corners awesomely. It out sprints, bridges gaps, and drops riders, from my experience with his tire.
