Description

Easy Clipping Efficiency and Lightweight Comfort

Time XPRESSO 7 road pedals are a great value as they are the only pedal in the XPRESSO line to use a carbon body. The hollow steel axle is both lightweight and extremely durable.

The XPRESSO 7 features carbon blade tension adjustment, a low stack height, and an oversized platform for pedaling efficiency and comfort.

ICLIC Technology makes clipping off the starting line or off the stop light easy. Time's patented pre-opened pedal engagement system allows easy, secure engagement every time. Clipping out pre-opens the system for the next step in. All XPRO and XPRESSO road pedals feature ICLIC technology.

Features:

Positive connection and transfer of power over my speedplay standard pedals
rating

first off the price was great especially when trying to snag any deals over holiday.

On to the pedals. Extremely light without the price tag of the Xpro 10 which was my first choice due to style & price. When that became unavailable (missed my chance to purchase) I settle on Xpresso 7. Not too much review or Youtube out there but it's a hidden gem waiting to be found by someone who shy away from all those AERO words or weight. Speaking of which, these are actually lighter than Xpro 10 and honestly the pedal lease likely to contribute to aero gain so settle on weight reduction. The shock to me come from how secure I feel pedaling on these then what I though Speedplay pedal were the best out there. I should have turned to Time pedals long ago but now's I'm enjoying a positive pedaling gain. There's a tiny increase in Q factor height but shouldn't change your seat position too much.

Carbon blade broke after a couple thousand miles of use

I was skeptical of the carbon blade design, and after truly limited use one of them snapped on me. I really wanted to support a legacy company like Time, especially because their pedals are made in France. My advice would be to just buy the tried and true Look or Shimano alternatives. They'll last long enough to give to your grandkids. These lasted me 6 months and I'm lucky I didn't crash.

The click of confidence

I love time pedals, the click in is solid and secure. Xpresso 7 is the best value/quality that Time offers, lighter than some of the more expensive xpro series with a similarly large platform. Highly recommended.

Time Xpresso 7 Carbon Pedals - You Dont Have to Compromise on Relativity Inexpensive Carbon Pedals

Ive used three pairs of this model of Time pedals on different bicycles (Pinerallo Dogma, DeRosa, and a Tom Kellogg Spectrum) and have always been satisfied with them. The Time clip on system really works well and the pedals are relatively light and work smoothly. The price is really right (especially at end of season sales) and I recommend them without reservation.
