Dual release springs are auto-tensioned and self-cleaning so engagement and disengagement are easy and predictable in all conditions. The steel axle and composite body makes for a robust construction that's only 27 g heavier than the top-end ATAC XC at 151 g per pedal. Features ±5° of angular float and 6 mm of lateral float plus an adjustable release angle of 13° or 17° depending on rider preference.

The best I have found for mud clearing
by Steven S

I have converted all of my bikes to Time ATACs. During cyclocross season, these things take a beating. I have never broken one, and I have one set with four full CX seasons, and they still spin smooth. I have seen quite a few broken egg beaters, and SPDs just don't clear the mud.

They are a little heavier than other alternatives.
