ATAC the trail with Time's most capable mountain pedal. The ATAC MX 6 Pedals combine Time's excellent (and much copied) simple spring engagement with a large but lightweight composite platform. The result is a pedal that can be ridden in a wide variety of shoes, and one that works as well on the DH course as it does getting you to work.

When it first appeared, Time's ATAC system set a new standard for mud-shedding and ease of engagement and disengagement. Designed originally to be "auto-adjusting" and require no tension adjusted, the real benefits of the ATAC became instantly obvious to anyone riding or racing these pedals in extremely muddy conditions. All put impervious to clogging and packing up, ATAC system also remains easy to clip into, and out of, under even the worst of conditions. The self-cleaning ATAC spring system simply doesn't offer mud a place to accumulate. Time's ATAC retention system also offers five degrees of rotational float and 6mm of side-to-side float, creating a more natural pedal stroke and the kind of maneuverability required for more enduro, BMX and DH racing.

The MX 6 is built to withstand the rigors of more technical trails and features a durable but light composite body and a large steel axle. More durable than the cage of the MX 4, the composite cage of the MX 6 keeps the weight of the pair of pedals to only 445g. Time pedals include cleats. Cleat release is adjustable between 13 and 17 degrees depending on the direction the cleat is installed.

These work great for me. Release is a bit tight for the first few rides (even n the lowest tesnion setting) due to the pedals and cleats being new but they are breaking in. I have big feet and like the larger platform these provide.
