Go where you wanna go.

The Teravail Coronado MTB Tire is an extra-wide all-rounder designed to suit it all. From the dry, vast deserts that cover the Southwest to the seemingly endless stretches of beach running up the Pacific Northwest coast, the Coronado was designed to excel in terrain where sand would normally be a hindrance and increased floatation is critical.

The 27.5 x 3” Coronado offers the best of multiple worlds. Providing the increased ground clearance, stability, and angular momentum of a 29er plus the larger footprint and floatation that a 3” wide tire offers. A mild and open center tread works with the slightly more aggressive side knobs to offer traction and efficiency in sandy terrain.

Choose the standard casing for added puncture protection and durability, however if that's not necessary turn to the Light & Supple Casing. Offering decreased weight and added comfort, this ultra-supple casing improves the ride quality at lower pressure when set up tubeless.

item is labeled 27.5 x 3 inch and when measured on arrive i was not sure since the tread measured 5 inch and 3.

Then test installing, was easy and simply to put on. but when inflated it was 5 inch, so it does not fit my bike which limit is 3 inches, too bad!

The description of this tire as being a sand tire almost had me picking another. I am glad I did not. They mounted by hand on Stans 52mm Hugos and bead seated with a mtb frame pump! I actually rode them without sealant for three days. Their cush is awesome. The supple cassings also wrap the chevron tread around every root and rock like sticky fingers. I ride them on a daily commute on a mix of road, gravel and singletrack for a minimum of 20 miles each way. More on weekends. They have 3 months of that wear and I would call them broken in nicely with at least 75% of their tread left. They do roll fast.
