Description Heavy-Duty Off-Road Touring MTB Tire
The Surly ExtraTerrestrial Adventure Tire is designed to ride without limits, featuring a high-volume, heavy-duty construction.
This tire shines on hard packed surfaces, featuring a distinctly directional tread pattern that yields more traction than you might expect, yet still offers very low rolling resistance. With its 46mm" width, the ExtraTerrestrial offers enough width and traction for the soft stuff, as well.
The Surly ExtraTerrestrial Adventure Tire measures 26x46mm. 60 TPI casing. Tubeless ready.

Tires are fantastic

Put the Surly Extraterrestrials on my single speed cruiser that cost all of 69 dollars. These tires are Amazing . I use this bike for Urban Assault and Street , yes a heavy cruiser , typically do 30 plus miles . These tires shine in an urban environment. Curbs , surprise surface changes , asphalt , concrete , gravel , sand , loose pebblystuff . These tires dont care . Very predictable handling . Ridden in south Florida monsoon rain , tires dont care they grip on wet turns . Extraterrestrials track staight , no noise , no drama . Good to know about puncture resistance. Low rolling resistance. Hard wearing , they still look new. I highly recommend Surley ExtraTerrestrials for Urban Assault and Street .

Great all around tire
Love these tires, they have been great for cruising the streets and on gravel adventures. Only wish they came in a lighter casing for a faster rolling tire. Other than that I have no complaints and they have satisfied my needs thus far.
