I threw a pair of these in the gold bling color on my mtb earlier this season. I liked the bigger diameter and easy one-bolt installation. The other day, however, when rolling around the trailhead before my ride, one of the grips simply snapped and sheared off the handlebars, at the interface between the plastic substructure and the flange which fits into the metal clamp. I'm glad this happened on level ground at low speed, could have been much worse. Beware of this issue before buying, but don't worry if you're just using them for around-town or less extreme applications.
