Description

Tubeless valves for your road bike.

Stans' new Road Valve Stems are required for tubeless conversion using the old taping method on non-tubeless rims, or can be used as replacement valve for many tubeless rims. Available in 44mm and 55mm lengths to accommodate most road rim depths, except for extremely deep aero wheels. A removable valve core provides easier tire sealant application and hassle-free extender installation. Fits up to an 8mm valve hole. Sold in pairs.

Compatible Tubeless Rims:

  • Stan's NOTUBES ZTR Rims
  • Shimano Tubeless (TL) Wheels
  • Campagnolo and Fulcrum 2-Way Fit
  • Corima Tubeless
  • DT Swiss Tricon Tubeless

Removable core makes a difference!

Bought these valve stems because my Dura-ace C24's stems did not have removable cores which makes all the difference when applying sealant into the mounted tire that is beaded into the wheel. Stans valve stem was the perfect length and shaped the way it should be to fix into pista air chucks. Thanks, now it's simple to add air or sealant to my Shimano tubeless wheel set.

Good Tubeless Stems

Longer than the OEM stems that came with my Campy 2 Way wheelset and easier to use. Seem to seal up better than the rubber block that comes on most of the other tubeless stems.

Not a huge fan. But they work.

I thought these would be better than they are. They do work, and get the job done, but I made some mistakes in setting up tubeless, and I have other valves that have worked a lot better (generic ones off a certain big box website).

1. These don't include O Rings. O rings certainly aren't necessary, but they are really nice to have, especially when you need to keep threading an adapter on to put air in.

2. The inner diameter of these is smaller than most other tubeless valves for some reason. I have an applicator that I like to use that makes changing tubeless tires a breeze, because I can stick the applicator all the way through the valve stem and suck out tubeless sealant without unseating the tire. Not with these valves. They are quite a bit smaller in ID than most other valves. Due to this, the job was a whole lot messier than usual.

Other than that, they work.

I keep a few of these in my workshop for myself and or anyone else who may need them on a ride. Cheaper and solid always.

Good quality at a good price, a must have for tubeless tires

Over time the rubber seals at the end of the valve and the rubber seals on the valve cores get torn or become brittle and you need to replace them. Might as well go with the original, Stans. These work great and are a resonable price. In my experience they work on all rims.

Combined with Stan's fill kit/injector they're fantastic. Tire on, exactly the amount of sealer I want, not a drop on the floor.

I tried cheaper stems and had them pull through the rims. I went back to the original, best tubeless stem. Removable core, seals, what more can you ask for? art deco?
