SRAM designed X-SYNC chainrings to prevent chain deraillment over bumpy terrain by using both sharp and narrow teeth, as well as rounded chamfer edges.
In addition, the longer DUB crank spindle accommodates both road and MTB width frame bottom bracket standards for unmatched cross-compatibility across brands.
