Description Slow down when you need to, not when you don't.
SRAM's Red Brake Calipers have been redesigned to combine aerodynamics, weight savings and stopping power. This balance is made possible thanks to their new AeroLink technology, a unique arm shape which amplifies braking power while reducing frontal surface area.
The wind cheating design extends to the shape of the indexed four-position quick release, the bladed barrel adjuster, low-profile pinch bolts, and recessed spring tension adjusters for the ultimate wind cheating advantage. Even the pad holders have been re-shaped for an aerodynamic edge.
Like the last Red brake, a cold forged aluminum construction ensures strength while keeping weight to an absolute minimum. SwissStop pads provide great modulation and stopping power, and increased brake clearance provides better compatibility with today's wider rims.
The SRAM Red Brake Calipers are sold in a set including Front and Rear brakes. 252g/set (actual).

Added these to my new build with Sram Etap, older Shimano DA brakes just didn't look right on the new build. The Aerolink brakes provided the needed finishing touch to the new build and the price was right.

Bought these to replace the lower end brakes that came on bike. Loved the design, but wasn't sure about braking power of the single pivot...Well, I'm here to let you know you have nothing to worry about. These brakes are as powerful as they are good looking. Get these and you will not be sorry.
