Shift into the future.
For the Force CX1 groupset, SRAM simplified their shifter and brake levers thanks to the 1xâ„¢ design. Removing the front derailleur also means that you get to remove the left shift lever entirely. The right shift and brake lever is more-or-less the same lever as you would get from their standard Force22 group, bringing with it all the technologies you’ve come to love. The DoubleTap® shift lever controls both up and down shifts. The ergonomics of both left and right shift and brake levers are incredibly comfortable, drawing their ergonomic inspiration from SRAM’s Red shifters. When things get muddy and wet on the course or on the road, the ErgoFit textured bodies provide better grip and control.

The CX1 group is excellent. Well engineered, it just works. There were some patched up solution for 1xring setup beforehand but now you have a foolproof system.
Ergonomics is good.
