Simple, Light, and Top-Tier Tech

Occupying a new realm in shifting performance, the redesigned SRAM XX1 Eagle™ Rear Derailleur gives no-compromise racers and dream-bike builders a true top-tier option. The crisp, precise XX1™ shifting feel athletes rely on now features an updated design that is perfect for cyclists of any experience — not just for the professionals.

The Eagle represents SRAM's newest 1x drivetrain technology. Featuring all-new 1x components, this derailleur is engineered for even greater durability and performance while maintaining a significant weight advantage over other drivetrain solutions. This technology also provides an expanded gear range of 520%, which is equal to 2x11 drivetrains. An updated cage geometry allows for improved chain management, with the roller bearing clutch eliminating excess bounce and chain slap for added comfort while on the trail. Occupying its rightful place at the top of the Eagle™ ecosystem, this one-of-a-kind derailleur makes full use of the new 10-52t cassettes and is backward compatible to also work with the 10-50t.

Incredible technology advancements allow the SRAM XX1 Eagle™ 12-speed Derailleur to have the highest level of performance and durability. Tall square SRAM X-Sync teeth edges engage the chain earlier than the traditional triangle shape, meaning traction even in the muddiest of conditions.

Features:

  • Updated cage geometry provides better chain retention and crisper shifting
  • Cage lock technology makes chain installation faster and easier
  • Roller Bearing Clutch technology eliminates derailleur bounce and chain slap
  • X-Actuation keeps shifting sharp and consistent
  • X-Horizon eliminates all movement to the horizontal axis
  • SRAM X-Sync 1x chainrings provide the highest level of performance and durability
  • Eagle technology is lighter, simpler, more durable, and an easier to use drivetrain
  • Comes in XX1 Eagle™ master colorway as part of Eagle™ Colorsystem
  • Backwards compatible, works with 10-50t and new 10-52t cassettes
