Too Much Travel
by Bill R
Replaced an original SRAM 7-speed twist shifter with this one. The new one's cable travel through all clicks is longer than the original (which shifted fine, the grip was just deteriorated). Consequently, it has to be adjusted for either 1-6 or 2-7, skipping one intermediate ring along the way. With the low and high limit screws opened-up, the cable travel is clearly too far for a 7-speed cassette.
