Less is more. When Sportful first conceived of the Monocrom Cap, they wanted a simple garment. One color, no graphics, to allow you to match this accessory simply and elegantly. They then started experimenting with garment dyeing. As a technique used in fashion, it hadn't yet been applied to technical clothing — until now. The completed cap is immersed in a dye bath to obtain a unique effect. Every component absorbs the dye differently, and each piece is different from the next, so you never get quite the same effect.

In terms of its construction, the Sportful Monocrom Cap is a modern cap made using multiple fabric panels and a hard plastic visor. This one-size-fits-all construction utilizes rear elastic for a genuine fit, even if you know your head runs a bit smaller or larger than the average.
