Don't let the dark or the rain keep you from getting out on your bike. The Showers Pass Hi-Vis Torch Jacket provides an unprecedented combination of visibility and weather protection, executing both at a high level to make it the ultimate riding jacket. The silvery body of the Hi-Vis Torch is a unique MapReflect waterproof fabric, which illuminates brightly in the presence of headlights and features a distinctive map-print of various bike-friendly metropolises for a look that's right at home in the city. Best commuting jacket ever

First, it is a beautiful jacket - the ultra reflective map print looks amazing in person. Second, although not race-fit, it is cut a bit more slim-fitting than many comparable commuting jackets, but still has enough room for a heavy jersey. Third, the reflectiveness is existential. Cars clearly give me much more room when I wear this, AND the led lights are quite effective as well while still being unobtrusive in the day. Venting is well done. Pockets well done. Waterproofness seems very good. Construction is excellent. I am 5'6 140 lbs wearing a SMALL and the fit is perfect although arms would be too short if I were much taller.

Great jacket, worn it on an all day ride with intermittent rain. Had it on even when the sun was shining, open vents and cuffs provided plenty of ventilation. No issues with moisture soaking thru. Got lots of comments from others on how reflective the material is after dark.

Worn it while walking the dog in heavy downpours too.
