What to wear under your Showers Pass jacket.

This Showers Pass Body-Mapped Baselayer has been designed with open-knit vents that match up perfectly with the vents on your Showers Pass rain jacket. They've used the same construction used for making socks to knit these breathable patterns while maintaining an itch-free seamless torso. The 4-way stretch fabric is warm, odor-resistant, and supremely soft thanks to a fine-tuned blend of Merino wool, modal, spandex, and nylon. For comfort, the garment features a wide hem, articulated elbows, and thumb loops, making it suitable for cycling or any other outdoor activity.

Available in two sizes.

I'm 6'1 and lanky, and the large/xl is a bit short in the arm and torso for me (after regular warm machine washing, not delicate cycle). The thumb-hole in the sleeve is a bit weird - not comfortable to use it since the sleeves are a bit short and it tugs. Not sure the thumb hole would be a good idea in any event, because you don't really want at seam between your palm and the bars. Otherwise, the construction is good and the material is ok - despite the low % wool, it does that wool thing where it emits steam when you overheat in it. Does have its limits as far as wicking goes. Warmer and nicer when wet than my Patagonia base layer. A touch scratchy (think old-fashioned wool but not quite as bad) against the skin, but nice and stretchy and a good form-fit. Will try Craft next based on positive reports.

The product is exactly what I wanted. It's great to wear as a base layer on those cold days in Colorado. I'm tall at 6'4 and it fit better than I expected.

Great base layer. Fits well, keeps me warm. Have used with a wool jersey and jacket, under a wool jersey, and with a regular jersey. Breathes well, doesn't smell.
