It's Time To Rock And Roll With Wheels Built For The Trail

If you were born to ride, you know the feeling of adrenaline as your blood pumps harder, faster, ready to conquer this trail and any others that may stand in your way. As the trail devolves from paved track to steep muddy downhills, you need a wheel that can handle the dust and dirt of the off-road lifestyle. Upgrade your bicycle with the Shimano WH-MT620 Wheelset for adventure free of flats or falls for some time to come.

The WH-MT620 29" wheelset by Shimano features tubeless compatibility and extra-wide aluminum rims (30 mm), which allow tires up to 2.6". The rear wheel is equipped with the innovative Micro-Spline freehub, which accommodates 12-speed cassettes with 10-tooth sprockets. The E-Thru thru-axle system provides for optimum rigidity, with an installation width of 110 mm at the front and 148 mm at the rear. Low maintenance cone bearings guarantee smooth running.

The type of wheels you use has a significant impact on your performance and ride quality. With a durable set of wheels underneath you, prepare to journey on with confidence. The Shimano MT620-B 29" Wheelset is lightweight and durable, perfect for trail riding thanks to stiffer steering. The rims are tubeless-ready so you can ditch the tubes and lower the tire pressure for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats.

Features:

  • Thru-axles for stiffer and more responsive steering
  • Tubeless-ready rims for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats
  • Aluminum rim with stainless steel spokes
  • Recommended tire size: 2.25 - 2.5"
  • Presta valves
  • Clincher tire type with centerlock (disc) brake compatibility
  • Durable aluminum construction weighing in at an impressive 2,233 grams
  • 24H front and rear spoke drilling

  • FREE Cassette Installation - Order a cassette along with a wheelset and we can install the cassette for free. Cassette installation requires special tools that not all our customers have. The cassette will be professionally installed and torqued to spec. Just add "Please install cassette" to your order notes at checkout and we'll take care of you.
