Land of opportunity.

Carrying over the same cogs-on-carrier design, the largest 5 cogs of this cassette are mounted to a lightweight carrier for further weight reduction and improved strength. With a durable construction of nickel-plated steel cogs, this cassette is ready for seasons of corrosion-resistant riding.

Works flawlessly like most Shimano products...

I use it for mountain climbing. Long grades above 10% require me to stand in a 34x28, so this just makes the difference between sitting and standing.

Not much to say about a cassette - other than works well, WBW has great prices and fast service - and Ultegra level has great value.

The Ultegra cassette has always been the best balance of price and performance. With the release of the 8000 series comes the new 11-30 cassette, which I really loved for cyclocross. Having the 30t was nice to have on steep courses over the 28 but only a little bit heavier.

Excellent substitute for dura ace with better wear characteristics and only a slight wieght penalty, much lighter on the wallet too.

Great range of gears at a good price.

I wanted the wide gear range available in this cassette and also was glad I could get it at a decent price. I have one of these on another bike and it has lasted a very long time. This one should also last a long time. This is a very good cassette that I'll buy again if the need arises.

Upgraded from an 12-25 105 cassette to an 11-28 Ultegra cassette (hills) and can actually feel smoother shifting with all of the rest of the components remaining 105.

I have been riding SRAM for the past 10 Years and I changed to Shimano last year. The shifting is smooth as butter and easy on the hands. So far it has been a good change.

started to have poor shifting while on the trainer and realized lubrication was not the issue. Worn cassette and idler wheels were actually the culprits. Installed new cassette and idlers-voila! problems solved

The cassette is lighter than the 105 version and feels like it delivers smoother shifting. Not as light as Dura Ace but more durable and more value for the money spent.

Have these on two road bikes. Cannondale Evo Hi Mods- one with DI2 and the other with Dura Ace year. Pretty simple works well all the time with both set ups. Minor weight penalty vs DA cassette but not noticeable. Have one less adult beverage and you made up the weight difference.
