High quality 9-speed cassette
rating

Was looking for a 9-speed Shimano cassette with a wider range than the stock 12-25t cassette for an older road bike. This 12-27t cassette offered the lowest cog (27t) that the 9-speed short cage rear derailleur would work with. The level of machining quality is very high as is typical of the Ultegra range of components.

I prefer a Shimano drivetrain for nine speed applications, so I am appreciative for the ease, and low cost, of this Shimano Ultegra cassette. Its exactly what I required for the rain bike. Works perfectly every time.

Have these on all my bikes. Last a long time, shift really well and price is great. Dura Ace is nice too but to expensive for my needs. These ultegra cassettes are perfect.

I have not put this on yet but it was my only option for my 9-speed since I could not find the 15 tooth cog that I needed.

This cassette shifts smoothly, lasts for many miles, and has useful gearing. Ultegra is high quality and a good value. I have always been happy with Shimano components.

This 12-27 cassette helped more than the stock 12-25 in climbing hills, but not enough, and I got an 11-34 with mountain bike derailleur to do the trick.

I manage to climb just about any hill but slowly and only with great effort.

I got this 12-27 cassette as I through it would make climbing easier than the stock 12-25 cassette. It did, but not nearly enough, so I got an 11-34 cassette and mountain bike derailleur to handle it. The combination did the trick. I'm still no faster on the hills but this gearing definitely is easier on my legs.
