Good relatively inexpensive pedals
rating

I've had two sets of these pedals over the last eight years. They work well for every day commuting and for touring giving the rider easy access after stops. Each set has lasted ~10-15 thousand miles if you keep them clean and lubricated.

Put the pedals on our tandem for my stoker. The light action entry and exit springs are just right for her making the stops and starts easier. They work well and not bulky.

Switched to spd pedals on all my different bikes a couple of years ago. Used these on a recent tour with some walking involved. This pedal was ideal

I also like the support of the bigger platform

These pedals are replacing another pair of Shimano pedals that have large cleats. I'm riding a week tour that wil have walk around time at various stops. I have a pair of walking/cycling shoes with SPD cleats (for my mountain bike) and want to use them with my road bike. Voila! Here is the perfect pedal for my touring riding shoes. Easy to install and adjust the tension. Price was very affordable, too.
