Just when you thought it couldn't any better, Shimano has improved their XT chain with the CN-HG95 XT 10-Spd MTB Dyna-Sys/HG-X Chain. This chain is directional for totally optimized shifting on their 10 speed Dyna-Sys MTB drivetrains, and gets Shimano's SIL-TEC surface treatment which reduces friction and improves mud shedding. All this taken together makes for a chain that is quieter, smoother shifting, and requires less maintenance so you can enjoy your riding instead of worrying about your chain.

The CN-HG95 XT 10-Spd MTB Dyna-Sys/HG-X Chain is compatible with Shimano 10-speed mountain drivetrains only. It is not compatible with road systems. 116 links. 273 grams (claimed).

Shimano makes installation of chains easy with their chain pins. This chain holds up to heavy abuse and definitely aids in a buttery smooth drive train.
