The Ideal Evolutions of Comfort and Performance

Created in 1994, the Novus family has undergone numerous evolutions until reaching the new Novus Boost Evo, a saddle that enriches the offer of the Selle Italia Performance segment and is designed for those with rear pelvic rotation who therefore need a waved saddle.

The Novus Boost Evo saddle combines high performance with a strong focus on comfort and is available only in idmatch L3 size (145x245mm), because together with its waved shape, it helps offer greater support to ischial bones.

The Selle Italia Novus Boost EVO Superflow Saddle has FEC Alloy rails and flex control.

Features:

  • Waved shape provides stability for cyclists with posterior pelvic tilt
  • High strength and flexible FEC Alloy rails
  • Superflow central cutout to better release pressure from the perineal area and increase the feeling of comfort
  • Dimensions: 145 x 245 mm

Should have gotten a Brooks C17 instead. I was hoping this saddle would be comfortable enough for long rides. It's not even comfortable enough for medium rides. I guess if you have a different riding style and body type it might be ok for rides up to 50 miles or so. It just doesn't work for me. Maybe over time I might be able to tolerate it and adapt after time spent on it. I will just have to see after more usage.

I needed a saddle for a bike I pieced together with spare parts and I wanted one cheap. This one looked the part. It's surprisingly comfortable and solid. It looks a bit cheap but I don't mind. The wings curve downward quite a bit which becomes disagreeable to me after a while.
