This my first 29er Mary up front and now that Mary comes in a 2.6 had to try it.

I have it mounted on a 36.5 internal width rim and it measures exactly 2.6 at tread and the case. Tire has been most predictable front tire Ive ever used. Faster rolling then my 27.5 x2.8 by good margin, but still a little slow rolling.

I chose soft compound by mistake but in wet conditions its been amazing. Have almost 200 miles on it now and its just starting to show wear on side nobbies.

Going to buy another in harder compound for when it dries out.

Condition, chunky steep, hiro dirt, mud, hard pack, gritty, loamy, rooted, wet rooted. Loose Gravel on hard pan.

I give it a 5 out of 5 on all those conditions. Tires i have tried on same bike and same condition are, DHF, DHR2, Hans Damf, Eddie current, Aggressor,

Best front tire for Pacific N.W. conditions

Have used many brands and styles.

This by far the best turning and stopping front tire I have use.

I dont have a lot of sharp rocks or shale ledges so I dont make any claim on puncture resistance.
