Description

Ride Bold

The Schwalbe G-ONE RX PRO delivers top performance even on rough surfaces. With its new aggressive tread design you will have better control for higher speeds on loose ground, rocky gravel and muddy trails. The boomerang elements in the center ensure smooth rolling. The intermediate knobs offer strong support under load while traction and stabilization for fast corners and challenging tracks are provided by the outer blocks.

The RX combines the best features of the G-One R and the X-One R and provides you with a new level of off-road experience: the prominent central and outer lugs give you the grip you need for fast corners and demanding tracks. And thanks to the new ADDIX Race Compound, the RX not only offers outstanding traction, but also minimal rolling resistance.

Developed with the Pros — Made for Everyone

This tire features new PRO carcass construction for increased puncture protection with improved rolling characteristics. The turn-up construction offers excellent snakebite and cut protection with three layers on the sidewall which are complemented by the even wider V-Guard puncture protection. Two carcass layers under the tread maintain the smooth and comfortable riding experience introduced with the PRO ONE and G-ONE R.

Features:

  • Self-cleaning tread: Leave the mud behind and go full throttle
  • Maximum grip: Reinforced side lugs for improved grip in bends and solid center lugs for perfect brake transmission and grip off-road
  • Pure stability: Long outer lugs ensure absolute control in every corner
  • Available in 700x40, 45, and 50

Solid grip. On the heavy side.

They roll as you expect for the tread pattern. Hook up well in loose, chunky, rocky, and soft stuff. Did great on a long single track climb with mostly decomposed granite. No washing out front or rear. A little noisy and slower rolling on tarmac than other tires with shallower or closer set lugs. Definitely overkill if 30% or more of your riding is pavement or if the gravel is predictable. Both tires weight out the about 620g but it is a pretty robust tire for the intended use.

No flats at Unbound

Phenomenal tires, ran front and rear at Unbound w ZERO flats/ issues. Very supple, fast feeling tread even on smooth gravel. Measured 52mm on 27mm internal width rims. Would highly recommend, especially after several Schwalbe pros ran these w great success at Unbound and Traka as well.

Running these in 45mm width. Both Front and rear on a Cervelo Aspero. Solid tire, hooks up extremely well on single track and some loose gravel. Easy to install, running tubeless with Stans. Overall excellent Schwalbe quality and light weight for todays demanding needs for gravel riding.
