Description

The E-MTB Specialist for All Mountain and Enduro

Schwalbe has entered the E-MTB ring with the front and rear specific EDDY CURRENT tire. Designed for a wide range of disciplines, it allows uncompromising riding even uphill and takes fierce acceleration as well as technical riding on the trails.

The stable tread blocks use more rubber and wider construction to stand up to the demands of E-MTBs. The blocks are up to 20 percent more massive than other Schwalbe enduro/all mountain profiles.

The EDDY CURRENT tread has an aggressive arrangement, open design and concise V-Grooves in the center and side blocks for direct, precise steering characteristics and perfect transmission of engine power to the ground.

The EDDY CURRENT E-MTB tire features an Addix Soft compound that bridges many disciplines. It is just as at home in the Enduro and downhill world as it is in the demanding discipline of all-mountain and trail riding.

Super Gravity—The Go-To Construction for Aggressive Riders

Super Gravity construction provides perfect cushioning with high stability and robustness. Compared to the Super Trail carcass, puncture protection is further improved.

Five layers of fabric protect the center of the tire while four carcass layers and one fabric layer protect the sidewalls. Despite the durable construction, though, Super Gravity tires remain compliant and flexible due to Schwalbe's patented Turn-Up construction.

No other carcass has such stability and security—Super Ground tires are ideal for bikes with long travel and perfect for Downhill and Enduro when the rider and the track demand everything from the material.

Features:

  • E25 ready
  • Designed with front/rear specificity for maximum performance
  • Excels when used in a mullet build with 29 inch front and 27.5 inch rear
  • Super Gravity construction is stable and robust
  • Claimed weight of 1470g
