Description

The Perfect Free Ride Rubber

The extremely light Billy Bonkers 26" Wirebead Tire not only rolls quickly but is also very playful and agile. At the same time, the Bonkers offers its riders a forgiving landing, even when things in the air don't go exactly as planned.

Its tread design is produced for maximum traction on crushed gravel and hard dirt. The finely divided blocks multiply the gripping edges, while in the middle, small ramps help ease roll-off and make the tire even faster. The result: more airtime.

This edition of the Billy Bonkers bicycle tire is made with Addix Performance, which is a very durable, versatile rubber compound. It is the universal compound for Schwalbe MTB tires in the Performance Line.

Features

  • K-Guard puncture protection barrier
  • 67 threads per inch resulting in a supple feel
  • Classic tan wall color
  • Perfect for 26" dirt jumpers
  • Wirebead allows for easy installation

Great tires for a commuter

I put these tires on a 90's 26" MTB that was converted to a commuter, and they're FUN! Low rolling resistance, enough traction on gravel roads, and they're pretty light for a wirebead tire. If you're looking for budget tanwalls for an update on your 26" bike, you can't beat these for the price.

Quick tire!

This tire is a great all-rounder. It's solid on hard packed dirt and gravel, looks great, and I don't feel bad taking it on pavement. It rolls well in most places.

There's a reason that these Billy Bonkers are hard to find...the are just a great option for dirt or street! Unique tread pattern provides plenty of grip without being too much. Also privides a signature sound.

Love them!

Purchased these for some 90" mountain bikes I was getting back on the road for some friends. When testing them they were fast rolling and surprisingly supple. A great tire for the buck.
