Good E bike tire

I had been using the Big Apple+ tires. The big Ben + has thicker tread. More versatile, and it takes a bigger piece of glass to reach the casing and cause a flat. They weigh more but not so much of an issue with an Ebike. I'm using the 26" tire. To increase flat protection I've added tubeless sealant to the front tube, and added a Tannus Armour tire liner to the rear of my hardtail. There really isn't much a tire can do about small steel wires from blown out truck tires working their way in. Sealant , or a very thick liner seem to work. The 32mph speed rating (Moped) and reflective sidewalls are a big plus. The Tannus does much more than just prevent flats. Much smoother controlled ride at high speeds. No complaints with this tire. it does everything a tire can be expected to do. I just needed a bit more.

Excellent tire

Use on Bulls e bike. Had only 2 flats in 7800 miles. Have replaced both tires. The rear twice. I tend to like lots of rubber on the rear as difficult to change a tube on the road on this particular bike. Good traction and ride as well. Similar to Big apple. A+ rating over 19 months.

Just recently installed these tires to help avoid all the flats I was encountering riding on Arkansas River Trail in Little Rock. So far not flats. Good Smooth ride, good control.
