Description

Experience the Radial Revolution

Schwalbe ALBERT Gravity Pro 29 Inch MTB Tires are turning the MTB world on its head with radial construction for flexible tires with maximum utilization of the contact area that offer even more grip, control and comfort.

The basis for this tire is the completely rethought construction of the carcass. The carcass threads, which run diagonally across the tire at a 45° angle in conventional bicycle tires, are arranged at a much more obtuse angle in radial tires. This technology opens up a completely new dimension in the function of bicycle tires. The result is more contact to the ground at the same air pressure.

Guaranteed Grip and Control In All Situations

ADDIX SOFT is a compound that bridges many disciplines. It's just as at home in the enduro and downhill world as it is in the demanding discipline of all-mountain and trail riding. It also impresses when used in combination with other ADDIX tires. For more speed put Soft on the front, Speedgrip on the back. Or for more damping put Ultra Soft on the front, Soft on the back.

ADDIX ULTRA SOFT is for hardcore use in enduro and downhill. Its sensationally good damping has been further improved over the previous VertStar compound. Ultra Soft sticks to the ground, literally clawing its way into the subsoil because there's only one goal in sight: maximum damping and maximum grip.

Features:

  • Radial carcass allows for a larger contact patch and conforms to terrain yielding more grip, more comfort, and more control
  • Literally sticks to the ground as the tire deforms more precisely
  • Tread Pattern optimized for radial carcass: Many lugs for maximum grip and great durability

I am impressed!

I have been a long time Assegai fan and this tire has been just as good in dry, hardpack (probably better), dry loose, wet roots, and leaves. I haven't done any mud riding yet so can't judge there. What really impressed me was the change to this tire felt like I upgraded the fork in terms of grip, reduced fatigue, and ride feel.

Mounted on a RM Instinct Powerplay, front, 24 to 26 psi, avg 16mph trail riding.
