Most of my riding is on dry trail. It does a good job in stream crossings and puddles. I have noticed that it is very close to my tire 2.35" Bontrager XR2. Leaves sometimes get trapped and drag. Nothing terrible. I didn't have any trouble installing the fender. I like it much more than the thin plastic foldable fenders.

Looks sweet, but the plastic tabs where it bolts up to the fork are small and brittle. Mine broke on a gentle crash. The zip-tie variety are not quite as cool, but they're half the price, are a ton more flexible and don't break.
