The Race Face Turbine R 29" Rear Wheel boasts a 30 mm internal-width rim made from strong 6069 aluminum alloy that gives it the highest impact strength of any rim from Race Face or Easton. A 4.5 mm offset, asymmetrical rim design creates more even spoke tension between drive- and non-drive-side spokes, and they lace 3-cross to Race Face's Vault rear hub, designed with wide spacing between the 6902 cartridge bearings and an oversize hub shell for maximum durability and stiffness. Running the freehub are 6 double-tooth pawls set inside a 60 tooth drive ring for snappy 3° engagement, and it's available with a standard Shimano freehub body or SRAM XD driver.
28 spoke count. Tubeless-ready. Combined claimed wheelset weight with front-wheel is 1815 g. Available in 12 x 142 mm or 12 x 148 mm Boost spacing. The 142 mm option is convertible to standard QR and 12 x 135 mm with tool-free changeable end caps (sold separately).
