If you're not sold on a set of carbon bars, the PRO VIBE Alloy Compact handlebars are about as good as they get when it comes to alloy. The 31.8 mm oversize clamping area extends all the way across the tops, which not only makes it downright comfy when you're motoring up the climbs, but it also adds a welcome amount of stiffness without making the feel unbearable. AL-7075 construction is lightweight, and the shallow, round bend gives you plenty of usable positions to choose from.
31.8 mm clamp diameter. Sizes are measured center-to-center. Claimed weight is 245 g (38 cm width).

Reviews
I got these bars with the intentions of having internal Di2 wiring for a sleek install. The picture on this site, as well as the pictures on the manufacturer website show the bars as having holes near the shifter mounts. This is not true - there are no holes present on these bars there. The only holes that aid in the internal Shimano Di2 wiring are on the very bottom of each side of the drops, and on the back side of where the stem clamps onto the bars. I even contacted the manufacturer and they confirmed that's how these Alloy bars are - only the carbon offerings having the holes to aid in internal wiring near the shifters. I'm very disappointed with that, but aside from that they are very well built, lightweight for alloy and look great.
