Description

The Premier All-Around Training Tire

The Pirelli P7 Sport Road Tire is a great choice for road riders who train in all conditions, all year. It was developed to give racers and everyday riders the same confident control as racing products while providing added durability.

Many of our customers have noticed that, while racing tires are fast, they seem to wear exceedingly fast. The Pirelli P7 Sport still gives riders the feel of a supple race tire, but they seem to hold up for a longer amount of time.

Paired with 60TPI TechBELT casing technology, the P7 is optimized for wider modern road rims for better handling and comfort.

Features

  • Tread: The P7 Sport design is derived from the World Tour-ready P ZERO Race tire. It has more sipes to enhance the warming up and grip at lower temperatures.
  • Rubber: The PROCompound is an advanced rubber mix designed for high mileage and durability without compromising wet grip.
  • Tech Belt: The P7 Sport relies on a 60tpi nylon casing structure with an added layer of cut-resistant fabric under the tread to provide superior puncture protection.
  • Weight: 700x24c - 250g, 700x26c - 280g, 700x28c - 310g, 700x32c - 330g

Great value for a great product

I've been using a set for over 18 months and still very happy. Over 5,000 miles and I was ready to replace, but there is still plenty of rubber. They handle well, and amazingly, no flats (yet). They are also an easy fit on very tight wheels. I like them so much that when I replace them, it will be the exact same tires,

These seem to roll well and grip fine along with decent comfort. They seem a bit slim for 32c, but not extremely thin. I do not know about the longevity yet since I only had them for a few hundred miles,

Solid tire with great handling

I had a set of Michelins that were wearing out and I wanted something with improved handling but would still have puncture resistance and would last a long time, yet not be too expensive. I'm very happy that these Pirellis meet that standard (so far). I was also pleased to discover that they are not difficult to fit on the wheel despite the width (28cm). I replaced a bad tube with my regular levers, no shop tools required.

Great price for a great tire

These tires replaced a pair of Conti Gatorskins and they have performed beyond expectations, off the bay the tires feel more forgiving on the road. They are grippy on wet roads and even more on dry.

I cannot wait to upgrade the the PZero tires when these are done.

Highly recommend.

better than expected

Bought these to replace my Conti Ultra Sport 3 for winter training and noticed a huge difference in ride quality and handling. Sticky and more comfortable ride for winter riding, did not notice a drop in rolling resistance because let's face it, i'm not racing anywhere in real life.

Highly recommend these tires for winer training/riding.

Will switch to Pirelli P Zeros once the weather warms up again.

These are the first Pirelli tires I have tried and I am pleasantly surprised. They have great grip and road feel and are more supple than expected for a training tire. Now I am eager to try thier higher end tires.

I like the tires, the price was right and I had good success with the P-Zero tires for racing & training. Got about 2,000 miles out of them before replacing. These P7's are good, but the back tire is showing a flat tread groove, so be sure to rotate with the front for a more even wear pattern.

No complaints. Bought to put on my Specialized Roubaix to replace 28mm size with 32mm size. So far so good. In limited use so far, no flats.
