The Most Advanced Road Racing Compound
The Pirelli P Zero Race 4S Road Tire is the successor of the famous P Zero Velo 4S — a further evolution of Pirelli's best-selling all-season tire. The new Smart EVO compound enhances performance on wet, cold tarmac, while the new TechBelt construction continues to provide the handling and race feel that made the P Zero series famous worldwide.
A slightly thicker tread improves durability, making it the ideal solution for year-round riding without compromising a supple, race-ready ride feel.
The new Pirelli P Zero Race 4S utilizes a SmartEVO compound, the most advanced racing formulation for road use, born from Pirelli's experience in motorsport development and collaboration with factory World Tour teams. Pirelli's SmartEVO compound is an exclusive feature of the P Zero series.

700c all-season road clincher tires
SmartEVO compound provides superior performance in wet conditions

P 4S feels soft and grippy to the touch as all faster tires do. Mounts easier than most new tires and rolls very quiet and smooth. Does stop well on wet pavement. May be best option for training and fast group rides . The 28mm is on the small side of 28s. It is only 68mm laying flat and appears 1.5mm smaller than a GP5000 x 28mm mounted on a HED rim. I find this smaller 28mm a sweet spot for a smooth fast tire.
