Keep your chain right where it belongs.

Nothing ruins a race like dropping a chain a critical moment, and the folks at Paul are here to help. Their outstanding Chain Keeper takes the place of the front derailleur on you single chain ring equipped bike and prevents the chain from skipping off in the heat of the moment.

With three different clamp options, the Keeper works perfectly on cyclocross, cross country MTB, road bikes and many other bikes with single chain rings. It also fits a variety of ring sizes. It is not designed for freeride for big-hit use.

Great for single ring CX use

I run a 1x10 setup on the cross bike, and this chain keeper has never let me down in any ride or race, in spite of plenty of cross abuse. With easy setup you can shift from your smallest to largest cog without any chain rubbing on the keeper. A must for 1x10 Cyclocross bikes!

A dream for running a 1x10 CX setup without having to go SRAM CX-1

This chain keeper is outstanding. I recently converted to 1x10 using an old SRAM Red crank with a Force derailleur. I bought a very nicelight bash guard to replace the outer ring and was running a 3428 setup. I never had any problems until the second race with this setup. Despite having the bashguard and a chain catcher, plus pulling some links from the chain, there wasn't enough tension when I was in the 34x11 gear to keep the chain from backing off when going hard down a bumpy decline. It dropped twice in two races. I couldn't get it to drop on the workstand, or when training, it only seemed to happen when racing.

This product saved the day. Bashguard is gone, and has replace the old chain catcher. I had no drops after that, plus its lighter than the bashguardchain catcher setup I previously had by about 20 grams. It comes in three sizes, so make sure you measure your seat tube before purchasing.

Just what I needed! As others mentioned, it takes a few tries to get the positioning dialed in, but once its set, it works great.

I went to a 1X8 setup on my commute bike. I didn't need the lower gears. But the chain kept coming off. I decided to take the plunge and get this, because if I crashed I would gladly have spent the money to not have a crash.
