My wife took my older Park pedal wrench, so it was an easy choice to replace the best with the same.

This tool is poorly designed.

Since the jaw is 90 degrees to the handle,

it can only be used in one position unlike most wrenches with the jaw set at an angle.

I gave up & got a different pedal wrench- this one now sits in the drawer looking

much more competent than it is.

Right tool for the job

Pedals can be hard to remove with standard open end wrenches. Cone wrenches are easily wrecked trying to remove a stubborn pedal. This tool fits tightly to the pedal to completely avoid stripping. The heft and leverage of the tool make even the most reluctant pedal easy to remove. If you take your pedals on and off, you should buy this tool.

When I first pulled it out of the package, I thought I'd wasted my money. But this wrench will take the toughest pedal off with relative ease. I had the original pedals on a six-year-old bike, and they were in pretty much the condition you'd expect. I'd tried to take the pedals off with a box wrench, but no luck. The Park Tool took me a moment to get into the right position, but once it got going, the bent pedal was done for. The lengthy handle and rubber grip provide torque and comfort. Part of the reason I bought this one is seeing it hang in the repair area at my local bike shop. Good enough for the pros, should be good enough for you.

I am an amateur cycle mechanic and riding enthusiast. I build and service multiple bikes for my large family.

Park tools like this pedal wrench are what I see hanging on the wall at all my local bike shops. That's good enough for me.

Couldn't get the pedals off my vintage 90's colnago. Tried all the tricks in the book but my tiny multi-tool pedal wrench just wouldn't do it. Broke down and bought this, first try out of the box and the pedals came off with ease. Highly recommended.

Best pedal wrench period

I bought a Park Pedal wrench back in the 80's. Whenever Look started making clippless pedals. I've gone though a lot of bikes and a lot of pedals and this one has withstood the test of time. They have not changed the design, it's the same wrench. If something works, don't chage it. I like that. Can't think of anything else to say about it. It's the oldest tool I have in my shop. The only thing older is me...
