Great Tool!

As the name of the tool indicates, I used it to scrub the chains of our two bikes. I used to pull the chains, open a link, soak them in solvent, brush the chains by hand, before putting them in warn oil bath for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes in the oil bath, I'd fight with the well oiled, slippery chains to put them back together; and then put them back on bikes. With the Park CM-25, I left the chains on the bikes, ran them through the scrubber while simultaneously using a spray cleaner on the cogs and chain rings to ensure the entire drive system was clean. Took about 10 to 15 minutes per bike the first time, and I suspect it will take less time in the future. The chains well cleaned and, with a bit of lubricant, the bikes were ready to roll. Money well spent.

This unit is so much more solid than the plastic version I replaced. It does a wonderful job of cleaning my chain quickly. Will never be without this again. Sturdy, solid...I expect it to last for a very long time.

I used the plastic version for many years. This one is far superior. Aluminum casing makes it far sturdier and the additional pads are helpful. I wish I had bought this sooner.

Much more durable than plastic, but a little finicky

I've used the plastic version of the Park Chain Cleaner a lot, and it eventually started coming apart. I got this aluminum version to replace it.

This aluminum version feels like it will last forever, but it's a little different from the plastic design. The design difference means that the foam cleaning pads do not stay put as well as they do in the plastic version. Also this one has fabric pads on the chain exit section of the cleaner. They seem to do a good job as a final polish stage but may need to be replaced more often as it's not easy to clean these pads after cleaning the chain.

I've had 3 or more various plastic models and wanted to stop replacing them when they broke. This is pricey but I think will be worth it. It works well. One of the pads falls out and will need to be replaced soon, but that's not a big deal.

It left the chain really really clean. I used it with the Park chain cleaner liquid. The combination is great. The cleaner itself being metal makes it super sturdy. A must for the DIY mechanic.

I bought this scrubber to replace the plastic Park Tool scrubber which broke. This is much nicer to user, and makes the whole process faster. Because of much tighter tolerances, I am less likely to spill cleaning liquid and cleaning the workplace after cleaning the chain is also much easier.
