The Composite Platform Pedals from OneUp Components feature lightweight composite nylon construction with a chromoly steel axle. The platforms are sizable (115x105mm) and furnished with 10 rear-loading steel pins (per side) which are evenly distributed along the edges. The pins paired with a subtly convex shape yield a super grippy interface. The pedals' leading edges are thin and chamfered for maximum clearance of trail obstacles. Equipped with a proprietary axle system that consists of a cassette tool lock ring and a built-in bearing extractor, these pedals are especially easy to disassemble and service.

  • 10 rear loading steel pins per side with Nyloc nuts.
  • DU plus cartridge bearing axle system.
  • Thin, chamfered leading edge design.
  • Broad platform for increased stability.
  • Ergonomic, contoured platform shape.
  • Weight: 355g.
  • Platform Size: 115x105mm.
  • Axle Material: chromoly steel.
  • Height: 18.5mm (13.3 at the leading edge).
  • Pin to Axle distance: 108mm.
  • Body Material: Nylon Composite.

Love these pedals. A great upgrade from basic flat pedals that came with my bike. Put BBC these on my mountain bike and love them.

These are my first platform MTB pedals after riding cleat style setups for 20+ years. I will stay with this style from here on out. The grip is excellent for both climbing and downhill runs. I did not remove any of the pins, just used the pedals as is, out of the box. I ride dry alpine tundra/forest terrain and haven't slipped off the pedals at all, even with the occasional creek crossing. I wear a size 12 boot and the platform size is quite adequate.

I was just diagnosed with Osteoporosis so I have to be careful about falling. I will admit over the 25 years of riding with clip in pedals there have been multiple times that I was unable to unclip in time and landed on the ground. The pins on the pedals do a good job of keeping your feet in place with good grip. Great price for experimenting.

Screaming deal on a great pedal. It's about as light as one can find. I switched from the AU version to composite to shave 10 grms. Giddy up!

I've used these pedals for the last couple of months. Paired with my freerider pros they are very grippy and have great contact. The convex platform actually does seems to result in reduced and less hard pedal strikes which has been a pleasant surprise. I would definitely purchase them again.

Great Upgrade

I was still using good old toe straps for years. Always thought my shoes would slip on a flat pedal. Boy was I wrong! Even with a hard soled shoe these are fantastic. No worries that my shoes may slip. Must be absolutely awesome with sticky sole shoes. GREAT upgrade!
