The lightest semi-freestanding, full-featured bike and backpacking tent for one in the MSR lineup, the 3-season FreeLite 1 tent offers generous room to fit a large internal sleeping pad and plenty of gear for your solo trips.

The rainfly creates a spacious external vestibule, which is extremely helpful for drying out shoes, socks and jerseys in damp weather. Use the fully-enclosed tent in shoulder seasons or run it in Fast & Light mode w/ just the rainfly, poles and a footprint for an ultralight summer bivvy option.

Weighing in at 2lb 3oz, the FreeLite 1 travels light, and includes an ultra-compact compression sack, stowing easily in a fork-mount cargo cage or a handlebar roll bag. The high-tenacity, 15-denier ripstop nylon rainfly is Durashield polyurethane- and silicone-coated for protection against the elements in wet weather. The micromesh interior canopy allows maximum ventilation and moisture control.

With an ample floor dimension of 86x30" and a 38" peak height, the FreeLite 1 offers plenty of headroom to sit upright, which is huge when situating gear after a long day in the saddle.
