The Michelin Star Grip Tire provides all weather performance that excels in wintery, urban conditions.
When the roads get slick with rain, leaves, frost, and snow, traction becomes paramount for riding safety and Michelin addresses this with their StarGrip tread pattern. This unique, patented tread gives exceptional grip because of the shape of the numerous "stars" that can expand or contract individually to conform to the road, maximizing contact and providing the greatest purchase possible. The rubber compound used is also optimized for functionality at low temperatures, and a high density nylon ply under the tread improves puncture resistance.
The Star Grip is available in 700c x 35mm (35-622 ISO, 680g) and 700c x 40mm (40-622 ISO, 745g) sizes. 30 TPI. Black with reflective strip.

The best traction you could buy only downfall is pebbles get stuck in the tires and intense cornering alright but will increase your stopping distance and good for riding in wet conditions
