Reviews
Great wet contact on pavement. Little heavier than expected, but puncture resistance is worth it. Pretty much a daily commuter, last Michelin tires I had lasted quite a while. These look like they will as well. Great price, quick shipping.
Put these tires on a 1997 Gary Fisher Marlin....hey are a bit heavy but they do all things amazingly well....they ride city streets with ease, ride is great as compared with the knobbies that were on it. I have accidentially run over things that would have flattened just about every other tire and they keep going. I can go from city streets to bike paths to some moderate rough terrain seamlessly and the ride is just a great blend of a mountain tire and city street tire.....like I mentioned a great blend of both worlds for sure.
A bit pricy also, but overall....well worth the money if you want an excellent tire that will take you from the city to the woods with reliability and relative comfort, this is your tire....is it mine from now on...
Put these on our tandem and really like the ride. These tires are thicker and stiffer than prior tires we have used. They provide a stable ride and stable cornering. Prior tires could get a little squirrelly. I like that they are higher pressure than most.
I feel like I'm riding a tank with this tire. I was sold to the offering of 5 mm thick puncture protection layer of this tire tread but I also noticed the thick and strong side wall too. I'm commuting 30 miles every day so No Flat is my number 1 priority among all things. I was experiencing a flats average every 250 miles in my route with the previous Continental MTB tires, No flats so far over 1500 miles now with this Cross Max tire. I am happily enjoying a lot safer and comfortable riding now with a peace of mind higher air pressure (65 PSI). Little heavier weight than other regular tires is not an issue for me, anyway I'm riding a bike for exercise purpose and to reduce the weight. Strong Recommend!

I replaced my front tire on my Diamondback Citi Hybrid bike with this tire and it has worked great so far. I have used it both on the road, hardpack, and some gravel and it holds up nicely.
