Michelin has achieved a new level of puncture resistance thanks to a unique "square" shape and textured surface on the C4 Protek Max 26" tube.

This innovative design actually causes the tube to compress, rather than expand, when pieced by a sharp object. A sealant has also been added to increase the "self-plugging" effect at the origin of the puncture.

As an added bonus, the square design also eliminates twisting during installation and holds pressure twice as a long as a traditional round tube, so you can spend less time at the bike pump, and more time riding.
