Introducing the Maxxis Rekon 29" Plus Dual Compound EXO/TR MTB Tire. The Rekon is an aggressive trail tire for intermediate and technical terrain. The Rekon Plus features the same tread pattern as the regular Rekon, but it comes in a wide 2.8-inch width for greater traction and other monster-truck qualities.
The wide knobs down the middle of the Rekon Plus provide control under heavy braking and the L-shaped side knobs assure support when carving loose turns. With the confidence of the Rekon Plus tires, like there will be no trail that you steer away from.
The Rekon Plus features EXO Protection, which is an extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select Maxxis mountain tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected.
Of course, the Rekon Plus tires come tubeless-ready, so you can run those coveted low pressures without fear of a pinch flat.
