Raining mud.

With this mountain slayer of a tire, it'll be raining mud as you crush the competition in the enduro circuit. Combining the well-loved Minion side knobs with a series of short ramped knobs, the Minion SS EXO TR tire from Maxxis provides fast-rolling speed with confidence-inspiring traction. Capable of burning up a brutal climb and delivering you down aggressive descents with ease, this tires manages to effectively bridge the gap between a fast-rolling XC tire and a grippy DH tire.

With a dual rubber compound designed to minimize rolling-resistance without compromising on cornering grip. EXO technology through the sidewalls adds cut- and abrasion-resistance for charging through rock gardens or craggy sections worry-free and with ease. A 60 TPI tubeless-ready casing allows for this tire to be run without a tube, just add liquid sealant.

The Maxxis Minion SS EXO TR 29" tire measures 29 x 2.3 (58-622 ISO), and weighs a claimed 795 grams. Also available for 27.5" wheels.

Great tires for all round
by Peter

I live in South Africa on the garden route which is surrounded by hills and trails. At first I was not sure how they would handle but I was pleasantly surprised, great all round tire that accommodates jeep track and rolls well on these surfaces, on the downhills and uphills and single track I feel like I have better traction and cornering.

Only small negative that I have noticed is that the tread does seem to kick up a few more rocks.
