Description

The Front-Specific Downhill Legend In A 27.5" Plus

With its Downhill pedigree, the Maxxis Minion DHF 27.5 Inch MTB Tire will give traction in almost any environment. Originally designed for DH, the Minion DHF's tread pattern has been around for years because it works. Now available in this 27.5 x 2.8 inch version, those using the middle of the road tire size can benefit from the incredible grip offered by the DHF. Whether cornering or ripping down a straight, and regardless if you're rolling through mud, loose conditions, or hard pack, these tires will keep the bike under you.

Made using Maxxis's Max Terra rubber compound, the Minion DHF is tacky but not so soft that it sacrifices rolling speed. The EXO casing helps protect from punctures, and the DHF is fully tubeless ready.

Features:

  • 27.5" x 2.8" folding bead clincher tire3C MaxxTerra Available

Got this tire to replace a worn out Rekon and the increase in front end bite is beyond words! Sure the DHR is heavier, but any negative is outweighed by the increase in control.

Recently went from Maxxis Rekon to the Minion DHF and I got to say I have been missing out. Rekon is a great tire, but when I switched to the Minion thing just went up a level in riding skills especially on the switch backs, climbS and downhill. I really didnt feel a difference at all on the speed, but handling and aggressiveness got a lot better for me. I really recommend the Minion DHF and DHR. Great all around tires. Enjoy ??

My company is called total bike Solutions I'm out of Las Vegas and I use these tires religiously because of the rocky harsh desert terrain, these tires are for a yeti sb5 plus which came with recon tires which are not as durable
