Description The Gravity Standard — Now In A 2.3"
With its Downhill pedigree, the Minion DHF 29" 3C/EXO/TR MTB Tire will give traction in almost any environment. Originally designed for DH, the Minion DHF's tread pattern has been around for years because it works. Now available in this 29 x 2.3" version, those using the middle of the road tire size can benefit from the incredible grip offered by the DHF. Whether cornering or ripping down a straight, and regardless if you're rolling through mud, loose conditions, or hard pack, these tires will keep the bike under you.
Made using Maxxis's 3C Max Terra rubber compound, the Minion DHF is tacky but not so soft that it sacrifices rolling speed. The EXO casing helps protect from punctures, and the DHF is fully tubeless ready.

29" x 2.3 clincher tire
Front-specific design
3C MaxTerra compound
EXO sidewall protection
Minion DHF tread pattern
60 TPI

Two months riding Western Colorado with no problems

I bought this tire to get better traction riding. Because I have only had these a few months I can't rate them higher than 4 stars, a 5 star rating requires longevity of the product, not there yet. As of now, I would buy these tires again.

Bought this as a new front tire for a month long, shelter in place, tahoe stay. Perfect front tire. Matched with a maxxis aggressor rear and it rocked.

High Quality Tire

This is an awesome tire. Running tubeless on my Kona and its work fine. I run it at low pressure and it seems to endure most any terrain I throw at it. I highly recommend it!

This is my first Maxxis tire, very satisfied. Sealed tubeless as quickly and easily a any tire I've used. Great corning traction even in wet. Used on the front I haven't noticed poor rolling resistance. The only downside, is its on the heavy side, however, not heavy in my opinion compared to tires with comparable grip and side wall durability.
